We are offering an excellent opportunity to join our well-established team and become an integral part of a successful and highly supportive Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty as a teacher of A Level Law. Within our faculty, our focus is being active, engaging and creative in lessons, where students recognise the value of learning and are confident to take risks, under the encouragement and support from the teacher in class. The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College lies just south of the M4 between junctions 15 & 16, and within easy travelling distance of Bath, Bristol and Reading. The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form College is part of The White Horse Federation Multi-Academy Trust.

All teaching staff members are given their own laptop. We provide all new staff with a coherent programme of support through induction and we have a strong commitment to CPD and career progression.

About The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College

The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College has 1560 students, 200 of whom are in the Sixth Form. The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Wroughton.  

The school was established in 1967 and was the first purpose-built comprehensive school in Wiltshire. We offer GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for students, while sixth form students have the option of studying a range of A-levels and further BTECs.
