KS2 Trained Teacher required to work with KS3 students

The expertise that a primary teacher has from their training experience would greatly benefit our students. We can offer you an exciting new opportunity in a different environment plus the opportunity to design a curriculum aimed specifically for your students.

The role is to deliver a dynamic literacy programme to a select group of KS3 students. The programme involves English & Humanities curriculum areas, as well as a guided reading scheme and literacy skills lessons.

Walsall Academy opened in 2003 and is a 'state of the art' 11–18 all ability school with 1,150 students on roll. It is sponsored by Thomas Telford School and The Mercers' Company.

We are keen to hear from newly qualified or experienced teachers who want to work with our students to give them the very best start in life. If you want to join a positive, forward thinking team and believe you can help us continue to raise aspirations and standards, please contact us to find out more. We welcome applications from committed colleagues who want to develop their teaching skills in an innovative school with exceptional resources and an established sixth form.

If you would like further details contact Miss D Picken (contact details below).

Walsall Academy is committed to safeguarding our students and this post will require enhanced DBS check and standard pre-employment checks.
