A full time teacher of Mathematics is required for September to take responsibility for teaching of Maths throughout this small school of 80 pupils from years 7 to 11. Enthusiasm for the subject together with an appreciation and awareness of the needs of young people and substantial previous experience with the EDEXCEL syllabus are essential qualities along with an understanding of the new syllabi for 2015.

This post is not suitable for NQT’s or for those without substantial experience of delivering this syllabus. It would suit a recently retired teacher or one seeking to ‘downsize’ from full to part-time employment. The ability and willingness to be sole teacher of the subject is essential. Classes are small and pupils are imaginative, creative and engaging.

The Italia Conti Academy of theatre Arts Ltd is one of the U.K.’s foremost training establishments for the performing arts of dance, singing and acting and offers courses in the Secondary, Further and Higher education areas. This vacancy is in the secondary Theatre Arts School of the Academy.

Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts is a mixed, non-denominational independent secondary school in the London borough of Islington, serving students from the age of 10-19. The secondary school has approximately 81 students on record.

Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts was established in 1911 by actress Italia Conti. The school moved to its current site in 1981 and specialises in the performing arts. Facilities include dance, acting and singing studios, along with lecture rooms, academic classrooms and a video studio. Along with the main secondary school, there are 12 other branches around the country which provide courses in performing arts and training up to degree level. Full time students belong to The Italia Conti Agency to help enhance their opportunities in the industry.
