The High School invites applications from fully qualified, enthusiastic and experienced teachers to join our high-performing teaching team in September 2015 for the following post:

Teacher of Mathematics to work with our Learning Support Team

The successful candidate will have a degree in Mathematics with additional SEN qualifications and/or experience, and current experience teaching Mathematics to students of all abilities. He / She will be expected to become fully involved in the school’s Learning Support Department which supports students with a diverse range of abilities and needs.

In addition to the requirements listed above the successful candidate must have:

  • An internationally recognized teaching qualification
  • A proven record of excellent examination results at I/GCSE in Mathematics

He/she will be:

  • An excellent classroom practitioner with creative and innovative ideas, committed to achieving high academic standards and passionate about creating a stimulating and student centered learning environment
  • Able to plan and execute individualized programmes of study, using baseline data to guide them
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to be involved in a wide range of school-related activities
  • Expected to fully adhere to and support the Christian ethos of the school
  • Prior experience teaching in a multicultural international school environment is an advantage.

Salary range: CI$37,000 - CI$53,000 (tax free) per annum, commensurate with experience. Other benefits include medical insurance, contribution to a pension plan and relocation allowance, including airfare.
