Applications are invited from well-qualified candidates to teach Mathematics at both Key Stages 3 and 4 following the promotion of the current post-holder. As the Department comprises a supportive and hard-working team committed to further raising already high standards, this post would suit either a newly-qualified or experienced teacher who wishes to develop his/her career in an environment in which “Students are enthused by learning” and “Behaviour is outstanding”. (Ofsted, July 2011).

Summer 2014: 5 + A*-C: 81%; 5 + A*-C (EM): 78%; Mathematics: 83% C +.

The County High School Leftwich is a fully inclusive, co-educational, 11-16 school with approximately 1000 students, 60 teaching and 60 support staff. The school serves a mixed catchment area with a Published Admission Number of 196, though we are now significantly over-subscribed.
