Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Mathematics to join us.

You will have a passion for teaching and a desire to motivate and engage students. The faculty has an ethos of building strong relationships with students to provide exceptionally high standards of teaching along with the best possible learning environment and educational resources that students, parents and the local community are proud of.

The Mathematics Faculty has 11 qualified teachers with a mix of age and experience. The Mathematics GCSE and A level results and Progress 8 have improved to above the National Average; this trajectory is projected to continue.

We are housed in a 10-room purpose-built Mathematics block which has interactive Promethean screens in each room. The academy continually invests in CPD to ensure teaching is good or better.

Ability to teach at A level would be advantageous.

The Pingle Academy is an 11-19 co-educational, comprehensive school, became an academy in May 2017 and joined The de Ferrers Trust. Our over subscribed academy is the academy of choice in the local area and enjoys an excellent local reputation.
