Salesian College - Educating for Life

Salesian College is an independent grammar school for boys aged 11 to 18 with a thriving Co-Educational Sixth Form. Since its foundation in 1901, the College continues to offer a traditional education based on the Gospel values of hard work, ambition, courtesy and mutual respect for others. It is not surprising that Salesian has a long standing reputation for developing each individual student academically, culturally, physically and spiritually, of which it is very proud.

The College consistently achieves outstanding academic results at both GCSE and A Level and is the top performing boys’ school in Hampshire*. The College has an extensive enrichment programme supporting STEM subjects, MFL, music and performing arts, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, educational visits in all aspects of College life and charitable expeditions. In sport, the College achieves exceptional success, including District football titles, County Cup rugby success and numerous trophies in athletics, cross-country, basketball and tennis. Further successes include swimming, biathlon, golf and skiing.
