The Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), formed on 1 April 2019 and delivers 16 education in the West Midlands. Hereford Sixth Form College is part of this Trust. The MAT has an annual budget of £50m and serves the needs of 8,500 students across the region.

Rated Ofsted outstanding in 2023, the College consistently achieves one of the highest Advanced Level points scores per entry of over 100 SFC’s nationally and has outstanding value-added results as measured by both the ALIS and ALPS systems.

The Mathematics Department is a successful and vibrant area in the college, which covers a total of 9 different qualifications. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking teacher, with a positive outlook, to join us and contribute to the college’s continuing success. You will be committed to a departmental ethos based on high quality teaching, excellent examination results, shared resources and mutual support. Experience of, or interest in, Statistics A Level, Core Maths or Level 2 courses would be of benefit.
