This outstanding Academy is inviting applications from ambitious, well qualified and highly motivated candidates to teach across the full ability and age range in a very successful Mathematics Department. Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply. A full programme of support is available as part of our commitment to the Investors in People National Standard.
Hodgson Academy has been designated as one of the first wave of National Teaching Schools. This post will add capacity in Mathematics to help deliver our commitment to further raising attainment at Hodgson and beyond.
Results in 2014 included 88% 5+ A* - C, 77% including English & Maths and 82% A*-C in Maths
ICT within and across the curriculum is a major focus to improve standards and all teaching staff are issued with a personal laptop on appointment.
