The opportunity


This is a superb full time, permanent opportunity for an able and inspirational teacher to join the Mathematics Department in a leading HMC School. This role will suit a candidate who is very motivated and committed to delivering teaching and learning of the highest quality. The role will suit an individual who recognises that progress, challenge and enjoyment are key to enabling all pupils to realise their potential and maximise their outcomes in the subject.

NULS was founded c.1602 and its academic calibre is renowned in the area. NULS has an enviable academic reputation and is renowned as the highest performing school in the region. NULS’ momentum and standing continues to reach new heights after being awarded the highest possible gradings under Independent School Inspection. Our 35 acre site enables the school to benefit from impressive facilities for teaching, learning and extracurricular provision across our Prep and Senior sites. The school has recently embarked on an ambitious development programme to build on its academic strengths and wishes to appoint an aspiring and able Teacher of Mathematics who is keen to share in the delivery of the school’s goals.

 

The Department

 

The Mathematics Department is very highly regarded and has an enviable track record of results success. The team deliver a bespoke Key Stage Three Curriculum, leading to GCSE, with top set often studying an additional extension qualification. A Level Mathematics is highly popular, with the Department always having a Further Mathematics class. The Department also offer a range of activities to stretch and encourage students such as national Mathematics competitions, where they often achieve noteworthy success.
