Job overview

We require a Maths specialist to teach across the ability range from KS3 to KS4, with KS5 available for suitable candidates. The Maths department is an established and dynamic team with a track record of success. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing a love of mathematics within our students and have an understanding of the needs of ethnic minority students.

Paget High School is proud of the progress that its students make, but drives relentlessly to improve still further. We pride ourselves on being a learning community where expectations are consistently high and ‘growth mindset’ thinking determines our approach to all of our students.

It is also worth noting that there is currently a vacancy for a Head of Year (TLR 2.8 - £6,322) position within the school and the successful applicant may wish to apply for this.

Paget High School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire and there are 700 pupils on its roll.
