Farringdon Community Academy is keen to recruit an enthusiastic, well-organised and suitably qualified person as Teacher of Mathematics. This is a key role in our school and you would be joining a thriving subject area which is continuing to drive up standards.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate, through application, covering letter and interview the ability to:
- Have a desire to be an outstanding Mathematics teacher
- Be able to teach Mathematics across the 11-16 age and ability range
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher or Form Tutor
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment
- Share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
- Support, promote and develop extra-curricular opportunities in Mathematics
- Help to develop a thriving Mathematics department
