Ron Dearing University Technical College (RDUTC) seeks an inspirational and skilled Maths Teacher to teach Maths to GCSE and, if appropriate, A Level Maths and Further Maths within our high-performing and friendly Maths Department.

 Job Description: Maths Teacher

• Carry out all the Professional Teacher Standards relevant to your pay scale.
• Teach Maths to GCSE.
• Teach Maths and Further Maths to A Level (if appropriate).
• Teach Maths for Engineering (if appropriate)
• Deliver Maths intervention programmes for students at risk of underachievement.
• Support the development of numeracy across the curriculum.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of an outstanding, innovative and creative curriculum comprised of high quality technical and academic options and utilising the latest technologies.
• Develop in all students, versatile skills and attitudes required for lifelong learning in a rapidly changing digital world.
• Work with University and Employer Partners to ensure an employer-engaged model of learning.
• Implement all relevant RDUTC policies effectively and consistently.
• Develop RDUTC as a catalyst for social and economic change, improving the outcomes for students and supporting the regeneration of the local economy.
• Be committed to supporting students through their learning journey from 14-19 and beyond.
