De Ferrers is an over-subscribed Academy on the rural outskirts of Burton upon Trent, within easy access of Birmingham, Nottingham and Derby. The Academy has a reputation for academic achievement, a positive ethos, excellent staff/student relationships and is committed to the personal and professional development of its staff. In recent years, the Academy has developed a national reputation for innovation and success in using Learning technologies and ICT. The Academy is an Apple Regional Training Centre, with 1:1 use of iPads in several year groups.
Due to expansion within this faculty, we are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic individual. The ability to teach Physics to at least GCSE level, and the desire to continue to raise levels of achievement is essential. The faculty is very well resourced and prides itself on a strong record of success. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to move teaching and learning forward, working within a strong team of committed staff.
