The governors of The Corsham School Academy Group wish to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of RE and PSHE Education is sought to join our highly successful People and Community Studies team.

Committed to the highest quality teaching and learning, the successful candidate will teach across the age and ability ranges at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Our full course GCSE is part of the core curriculum and is therefore, taught to all pupils in KS4. The focus in on Christian and Islamic Ethics through AQA's specification A.

We would welcome applications from NQTs and more experienced colleagues with the ability to teach Religious Studies A Level (AQA Ethics and Buddhism). The ability to offer Sociology, Psychology or Philosophy would also be advantageous.

This highly popular mixed comprehensive school has enjoyed record-breaking examination success both at GCSE and A Level including recently achieving the highest value added score at A level in any mixed state funded school in Britain. It is a high performing academy, with a double specialism in the Visual Arts, and Maths & ICT. In addition the school has been presented with the National Award for the Achievement of Excellence through Creativity and Enterprise by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. We have a Leading Edge status in recognition of the consistently high quality of teaching and learning throughout the school.

The Corsham School is an 11-18 comprehensive academy with just over 1100 students. We are situated in the beautiful Wiltshire market town of Corsham, within easy reach of Chippenham and Bath, and draw students from within the town and its many surrounding villages.
