The Trustees of George Dixon Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding, motivated teacher to the following post from September 2024:


Teacher of RE (with KS3 History)


We are seeking to appoint a confident, creative and enthusiastic individual who can contribute fully to the future development of our school. 


The successful candidate will: 

• Raise achievement through motivating, challenging and inspiring our pupils;

• Have a commitment to inclusion;

• Help foster a culture of high expectations;

• Help drive our school values of being Grounded, Determined and Sincere;

• Have opportunities to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.

George Dixon Academy is a secondary school located in Birmingham, West Midlands. Founded in 1906, the school provides places to approximately 1000 pupils aged 11-18 in a co-educational setting, with around 100 of these on roll in the school sixth form, making it average-sized for a secondary school of its type.
