The Humanities team is looking for an outstanding Teacher of Religious Studies with the potential for development of the role of Subject Leader. In addition to your main subject, there will be the opportunity to teach A Level Philosophy. Not only are we looking for an individual who is a team-player with a willingness to contribute to new initiatives, but also someone with the self-sufficiency, expertise, and organisation to assist with the development of the Religious Studies A Level.

You will join a supportive, strongly committed and excellent team who are focused on sharing good practice and resources. You will work within the popular Humanities department and join a team of 11 staff working in a new, well-resourced building. Within the department, alongside Religious Studies and Philosophy, we offer A Levels in History, Politics and Classical Civilisation.

Barton Peveril Sixth Form College situated in Eastleigh, Hampshire is one of the largest (over 4,700 students in 2022) and most successful sixth form colleges in the country.

80% of second year students move on to Higher Education including to the most selective universities.
