Sacred Heart Catholic School is an outstanding 11-18 mixed school. The main aim of the school is to educate pupils in accordance with the principles of the Catholic Faith which shines through in all aspects of the life of the school. Religious Education is a core academic subject at KS3 and KS4. In the Sixth Form all of our students study general RE and A-level RE is an extremely popular subject.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to the post of Teacher of RE. This post will provide the opportunity to join a highly successful and flourishing RE department. The successful candidate will be willing to play a central role in the spiritual life of the school, and to engage in innovative and creative learning strategies to enable the department to continue to raise standards.

The successful candidate needs to be

  • A talented, reflective and committed teacher of Religious Education
