Job overview
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced teacher to teach Cambridge International IGCSE, AS and A-Level in an English Curriculum school based in Tanzania.
Role summary:
- To facilitate the attainment of each student's full potential and to help them to develop strong academic skills
- To teach Science at IGCSE and A-Level (Biology, Physics or Chemistry) across all key stages according to the Cambridge International Examinations syllabus and to teach Maths at Key Stage 3
- To work effectively as part of a team and to be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular programme.
Person Specification:
- A good honours degree and teaching certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a UK curriculum school or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching IGCSE and , A-Level.
- Fluent English speaker.
- To be adaptable and accepting of the frustrations that can come about from working in a developing country
- Ability to deliver ICT would be an advantage.
