Job overview
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated teacher of science, with a specialism in physics highly desirable. Applications are invited from both NQTs and experienced teachers. A TLR is available for the right candidate with the skills to lead physics. The successful candidate will teach across key stages 3, 4 and 5. Launceston College Science Faculty is a consistently high performing team. The Faculty works in collaboration with the Institute of Physics to deliver high quality events and provide subject delivery training for ITT courses with local universities. There is a commitment to outstanding teaching, learning and innovation.
The College is committed to staff development and will provide opportunities for the successful candidate to join either the Outstanding Teacher Programme or the Launceston College Leadership Development Programme.
