Our four foundational principles provide the bedrock for our Academy and are designed to ensure that we will achieve "Excellence as Standard";

The successful candidate will need to understand, share and be committed to the Oasis ethos of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope and perseverance.

The role

We are looking to appoint a passionate Scientist who will deliver exciting and innovative Science lessons that will capture the imagination of all of the students they teach.  We want our students to be intrigued, to ask questions, to wrestle with concepts and most of all to love science inspired by your teaching.  You may be a chemist, a biologist or a physicist but most importantly you will be able to engage young learners with a clear eye towards promoting A level studies.

Our Science laboratories are well equipped and teachers are supported by a dedicated team of technicians who have excellent subject knowledge.
We work hard to invest in the potential of new entrants to the profession. NQT’s are very well supported in the Academy with weekly meetings focused on teaching and learning which are both vibrant and stimulating. Through your individual professional mentor you will receive high quality individual support and challenge to ensure that your teaching career gets off to the very best start.
