Teacher of Science (Chemistry)

The Directors and Governors of this highly successful Catholic Academy, a member of the Carmel Education Trust (a Multi Academy Trust), wish to appoint a suitably qualified teacher, to join this outstanding 11-18 Academy in September 2015.

We have recently received an Outstanding Ofsted inspection and hold a number of nationally recognised awards including: Inclusive School Award, Investor in People Gold, Chartermark, Arts Mark, Confucius Classroom and International School Award. Carmel College is proud to be a Teaching School giving us the opportunity to be involved in Initial Teacher Training regionally.

The successful candidate will be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the Academy, be an outstanding practitioner, committed to the idea of continual improvement and be able to promote a sense of enjoyment and achievement. We welcome applications from experienced or Newly Qualified teachers interested in joining our successful department able to teach across the range of subjects from KS3 – 5 and with a specialism in Chemistry.
