The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and an ability to teach up to A Level; preferably physics or chemistry. An ability to teach in a second curriculum area, such as mathematics or technology would also be an advantage. It is an ideal post for a newly qualified teacher or someone looking to progress their career to the next stage.

The Science Department offers a range of courses at GCSE and A Level in specialised and well-resourced accommodation. It is a vibrant and dynamic team providing all learners with an exciting range of experiences as part of the specialist science programme.

We can offer excellent working conditions, a supportive environment and plenty of opportunity for further development, at one of the most successful comprehensive schools in the country. The superb facilities include an on-site nursery and a brand new sports complex with subsidised membership for staff.
