We are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified, teacher to join a successful thriving Science Team. The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will instil in students a passion for learning and change their lives through learning in Science. The Science Team is well resourced and enjoys excellent facilities. Currently, Science is taught in 9 laboratories supported by 2 Preparation rooms.
The ability to teach to ‘A’ level is essential as is a willingness to contribute actively to the thriving extra-curricular programme and wider school initiatives. Applications from experienced or Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.

About Heston Community School
Heston Community School is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, state-academy, secondary school for children aged 11-19. It is situated in Hounslow in Middlesex and it has 1220 pupils on its roll.
The school was officially opened by the Charter Mayor in 1932 at a cost of £21,700 and attended by what was described as one of the largest and most representative assemblies which had ever gathered in Heston.
More recently the Hogarth Building was opened in 2010 and a purpose-built sports facility and a state of the art learning and teaching facility.
