Homewood School is “A good School in all aspects” OFSTED October 2012. It’s a title we are proud of and are striving to improve upon and to further boost our students’ academic achievement, we’re looking for a new face.
We’re looking for a Teacher of Science who is passionate and excited about their subject to teach students in Key Stages 4 and 5 initially. NQTs are welcomed as we have a big, supportive department with experienced teachers to mentor you. Our facilities are excellent; with a School Farm to promote conservation work, green issues, environmental science and curriculum enrichment through forensic sciences and dissection. The department also has a rich programme of trips, visits and extra-curricular activities.

Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2,100 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside.
