Southlands is seeking to appoint a teacher of Science for Key Stages 3 & 4 to join our very successful faculty which has a record of achieving excellent examination results. In 2014 100% of students achieved A*-C grades in Biology, Chemistry & Physics. Over 61% achieved at least 2 A*-C grades.
We enjoy new state-of-the-art Science facilities in our specialist Science building that was opened in September 2011. The school has seen a growth in parental preferences and as a result the school admission number has been increased from September 2015 with all places taken.
Candidates should be very enthusiastic, passionate about their subject and have an excellent knowledge of Science. The ability to develop very positive working relationships with students and staff and to be a team-player is essential. A new Science Building was opened in September 2011 which offers state of the art facilities.
