Teacher of Science (Physics)

An ability to offer a combination of subjects should be made clear within your application. Applicants must have qualified in the UK with a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in the UK and hold a PGCE or equivalent.  Please DO NOT apply if you do not have these qualifications.

About Us

Dubai English Speaking College (DESC) is a UK curriculum, inclusive, not-for-profit secondary school based in a spacious, modern campus in Academic City, Dubai.   DESC is the sister school of Dubai English Speaking School (DESS) which is our primary school located in Oud Metha and the first British school in Dubai, founded in 1963.

DESC opened in 2005 and has over 1,600 students. We enjoy an excellent reputation and are one of the few not-for-profit British curriculum schools in the region with a long and proud history in Dubai.

We offer a full range of GCSE’s, A levels, BTEC National Diplomas and a Foundation Level pathway that offers a mix of Level 2 courses. We are highly regarded, as exemplified by Outstanding ratings from both the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau and the Council of British International Schools.  Our results demonstrate outstanding levels of progress and achievement among our students.

Life in Dubai
