Trinity Catholic High School is an outstandingly successful and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with 1700 students on roll. The school is a Specialist Science and PE College and holds International School Award status. In February 2009 the school was judged for the fourth time as outstanding by Ofsted. Trinity has been recognised as being in the top 100 non selective, maintained schools by the DFE in 2013 & 2014 and judged as outstanding again in the December 2014 section 48 inspection.
From September 2015 the Science department requires a committed teacher of Science to join a supportive and highly successful department. The ability to offer Physics or Chemistry to A level and/or knowledge of BTEC will be an advantage. Students follow the AQA syllabus at GCSE and at A level. The Science department achieves outstanding results at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level and all classes are taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 onwards.
This post would be suitable for a highly motivated NQT, or, an experienced teacher who, in either case, feels they can make a significant and positive contribution to the Science department and the school as a whole.

Trinity Catholic High School is a denominational, co-educational secondary school in Woodford Green, Essex. There are 1660 students on the school roll, 464 of whom are in the sixth form.
Founded in 1976, the school’s motto is "In Christ We Shall Flourish". Its most famous former student is Olympic gold-medal-winning athlete Christine Ohuruogu.

Religious teachings play an integral part in the Trinity Catholic High School ethos. The school operates on the belief that all are sons and daughters of God, equal in dignity to each other.
