We are responsible for the education outcomes and this school provides an alternative to mainstream education offering learners the opportunity to work with specialist, trained staff in small group settings.

With the company’s continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a teacher of Science. Students study a range of levels and qualifications up to GCSE. Knowledge of the current Science specifications and controlled assessment would be an advantage as would a willingness to deliver in other subject areas.

• You will need to have a passion for working with Young People and Children, and want to make a difference to their lives.
• You will have the personality and determination to support the young people aged 10-18 to re-engage with education and community life.
• You will have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with young people with emotional and social difficulties.
• We need an individual who will bring a positive commitment to the young people and an awareness of their issues.

In order to be successful within the role, you must be able to work effectively as part of a team with shared goals and objectives. Previous experience of working with young people who display challenging behaviours would be advantageous.

Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
