We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Science to join this caring, happy and successful school. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join this outstanding school and become part of a thriving and dedicated Science department.

Reigate School is a large, heavily oversubscribed, 11-16 school. We are a truly comprehensive and inclusive school, committed to providing the best education we can for the children in our local community. Our aim to help every student achieve their academic, social and personal potential stretches beyond Reigate School through our collaborative work with other schools and colleges in the locality. We have recently been designated as a Teaching School which begins another exciting phase in the schools journey to move beyond outstanding.

The successful candidate will:

  • be a talented practitioner able to teach and have a keen interest in Physics
  • be able to teach Science across KS3 and KS4 including GCSE
  • be passionate about realising the potential of all children.
  • be inspirational to students and colleagues in providing energy, enthusiasm and creativity to the role.

A recent NQT monitoring visit by a Babcock 4S consultant stated “the quality of Induction is outstanding and is a real flagship for the school”. We are very proud of the commitment and dedication of all our staff in supporting the development of all new staff to Reigate School.

Welcome to Reigate School. It gives us great pleasure to introduce the school to you on behalf of both the governors and the staff.

Reigate School is a large, heavily oversubscribed, 11-16 school.  We are a truly comprehensive and inclusive school, committed to providing the best education we can for the children in our local community.  We have very strong partnerships with other local schools and colleges. Our experienced and dedicated staff and governors work collaboratively in many contexts, including through our Teaching School Alliance.
At Reigate School we have high expectations of our students and strive to ensure that every child achieves academically, socially and personally. We provide children with a balanced curriculum, a happy, stimulating environment and opportunities in abundance.
