The Freeston Academy provides education for 11-16 year olds, and is situated in the heart of Normanton, West Yorkshire near the city of Wakefield.   We aim to provide the best education for all of our students by promoting the highest academic standards through quality teaching and learning.  We develop students with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that will prepare them well for the future.  We aim to create and sustain a positive learning environment and work in partnership with parents and the wider community to improve in every aspect of our work.
