The Freeston Academy is a secondary school with academy status situated in Normanton, West Yorkshire. The School is close to junction 31 on the M62 and is also near the A1/M1 motorways.

The Freeston Academy provides education for 11-16 year olds, and is situated in the heart of Normanton, West Yorkshire near the city of Wakefield. We aim to provide the best education for all of our students by promoting the highest academic standards through quality teaching and learning. We develop students with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that will prepare them well for the future.
