We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for Science. We offer an exciting opportunity to enhance an already highly successful and motivated team, characterised by an ambitious drive for excellence centered on the academy’s motto ‘Students First’ (Ofsted, March 2012).

Outwood Grange Academy is an Academy of Excellence and a very high performing school. The Chief Executive is a National Leader of Education and Outwood Grange Academy is a National Leader of Education Support School.

In 2014, 80% of students achieved 5+ A*-C GCSEs, including English and Maths (new threshold measure). Our A Level pass rate was 100%, and 73.9% of these achieved A*-B.

In our March 2012 Ofsted inspection we were judged outstanding in all areas, including an outstanding judgment for overall effectiveness. Ofsted recognised that ‘Outstanding teaching is at the root of students’ excellent achievement’ and ‘the excellent behaviour of students contributes to an outstanding climate for learning’.
