Levent College will soon compete its second decade in global educational services with a highly skilled teaching and learning team in IGCSE, GCE AS and A Level examinations in North Cyprus. The medium of language is English. Serving over 600 students aged between 11-18 Levent College wishes to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and creative full-time Teacher of Sociology and Psychology to join a successful Social Sciences department from September 2015. The succesful applicant will teach up to A2 level and will also have the ability to extend beyond the syllabus for CIE and Edexcel applicants.

The ideal candidate should be

• an excellent classroom practitioner.
• able to display high quality teaching skills
• experienced in teaching Sociology and Psychology in English
• have a good level of CIE/Edexcel AS/A2 experience
• self motivated
• in possession of good organisation and interpersonal skills

All applicants must:

• have a teaching qualification that is recognised in UK schools
• have recent experience from a UK school or an overseas school following the GCE A Level curriculum.
