In September 2012 Durand Academy welcomed our first cohort of Year 7 students into our brand new middle school. This is on the site of our already outstanding primary school. The middle school merges the best aspects of both primary and secondary education. We follow an extended day, which finishes at 4.30pm. This allows students to follow an enhanced timetable. Students have the time to master the core subjects in depth whilst taking part in enrichment activities and daily homework clubs.

Due to expansion, we are now seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic, highly motivated, innovative, well-qualified and committed teacher for the above position.

This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher. Our NQT programme has been rated outstanding by inspectors.
