Learning is the key to students’ future lives. Learning should be fun and successful learning comes from skilful teaching.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate Teacher to provide high quality, personalised teaching and support to our students with a diagnosis of ASC. 

The successful candidate will inspire our pupils, helping to develop their confidence and resilience, to build positive relationships and to recognise and celebrate achievements.

You will take responsibility for a class, supported by a team of TAs and therapists.

 

Qualifications

·        Teacher Status or currently working towards achieving this (Essential)

·        Additional qualification in the education of children with SEN. (Desirable)

 

Experience

·        Recent experience of working with and/or teaching pupils with special educational needs within a school setting. (Desirable)

·        Experience of working with ASC / SEN students (Desirable)

Livability Victoria School is part of Livability and the school is one of three education settings that form the Livability Education Directorate. Our children and young people have a range of complex physical and learning needs including ASC. The school provides education for children in the primary and secondary age range.
