Aim and main purpose of the job

To support, hold accountable, develop and lead a team of teachers focusing on the SEND approaches to teaching and learning in Mathematics, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning in every class, for every student leading to excellent personalised outcomes for students whilst maintaining the wellbeing of the staff team and the students.

You will: 

·        Have evidence of recent continued professional and personal development 

·        Have experience working in a special education setting 

·        Experience of working with students with a range of learning and communication needs

·        Ideally MP 5 or 6 level of experience or UPS.

·        Have successfully led change within one or more settings 

·        Be ambitious and resilient 

·        Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding in schools

 

The successful candidate will be expected to become an integral part of our flourishing and vibrant school community and embrace its strong values of care and support for all.

Livability Victoria School is part of Livability and the school is one of three education settings that form the Livability Education Directorate. Our children and young people have a range of complex physical and learning needs including ASC. The school provides education for children in the primary and secondary age range.

Our vision is to be a schools/colleges where successful learning and high levels of achievement prepare children and young adults for fulfilling future lives.
