Bracknell Forest is on a school improvement journey and we want to appoint an outstanding teaching and learning adviser to work as a member of our school improvement team.

Your work will be central to improving the quality of teaching and learning including developing assessment procedures under the new curriculum through:

• Working with leaders at all levels to support the development of teaching, learning and assessment across the primary range;
• Enhancing the delivery of the new curriculum and assessment procedures;
• Providing schools with support with moderation processes;
• Developing the concept of mastery within the new curriculum and supporting high quality challenge in lessons.

To fulfill this role successfully, you will need:

• To be an outstanding primary practitioner;
• Experience of leading professionals in developing and managing change;
• Ability to inspire and motivate colleagues;
• Secure knowledge of recent curriculum development initiatives and assessment procedures;
• Good ICT skills.
