Teaching and Learning Leader - English

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with excellent links to the M1

We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher with a passion for getting the best out of students and for assisting with the leadership of our committed and talented English department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a hard-working, committed and creative department and to help mould the English curriculum in order to drive improvements in progress and standards.

Specific responsibilities within the department will be negotiated upon appointment.

Kirk Balk Community College is a large 11-16 college situated on the outskirts of Barnsley, within easy reach of Sheffield, Huddersfield, Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding areas, located minutes from J36 of the M1. We converted to an Academy on 1st March 2015. The sponsor is Northern Education Trust.
