Teaching Assistant

Hours: 27.5 hours per week (8.50am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday)

This post is temporary from 28 September 2015, for one term initially, due to budgetary reasons.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 child with specific behaviour needs on a 1:1 basis.

You will be able to:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils;
• Work with the SENCo and extended services to identify, assess and plan for SEN learning needs;
• Follow and deliver planning and intervention programmes ensuring good progress is made;
• Become familiar with the school’s planning and assessments
• Be willing to develop new strategies which meet the needs of the learners special educational needs;
• Be adaptable to the child’s needs ensuring successful learning.
