At Broadford Primary School we serve some of the poorest pupils in Havering. In order to transform their life chances we expect all staff to make the education of their pupils their first concern, and be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. We expect all staff to act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as professionals up-to-date and be self-critical; forge positive professional relationships; and work with parents in the best interests of our pupils. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational person to take on a crucial role within our vibrant school.

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and dedicated person to join our Inclusion Team. The Inclusion Assistant will be working under the direction of the Inclusion Leader and Classroom Teacher, to provide support as a member of a team, or individually, for pupils. The role will include supporting targeted individuals and groups of learners throughout the school enabling them to access the curriculum so that pupil progress is maximized and barriers to learning are identified and overcome.

Are you a charismatic individual who is:

  • Passionate about the impact teaching and learning can have on improving life chances for Havering’s poorest and most vulnerable children?
  • A person with the drive to inspire and motivate pupils so that their socio-economic background is not a barrier to achievement?

If so, we can offer you:

  • Well behaved, hardworking and enthusiastic pupils;
  • An outstanding, supportive school community;
  • A commitment to a culture of continuous professional development

If you think you are ready for this exciting next step please call the school on 01708 342880 and arrange a visit to come and see us.
