Teaching Assistant Level 2

25 hours per week, Term Time only
Fixed Term until July 2016 in the first instance

Grade 5 SCP 14-17 £8.41 to £9.00 per hour

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to work in our friendly, caring and supportive village school. We are looking for a person with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, who is also flexible and adaptable, and who will foster positive home school relationships.

• A good standard level of education is essential.
• Experience of working with children with specific needs, including working with small groups or one-to-one with pupils is desirable.
• Experience of working with children with ASD is also desirable (although training will be provided) as is experience of working with outside agencies.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to visit the school. Visits have been arranged for the following times: Thursday 26 February at 2 pm, Monday 2 March at 2pm and Tuesday 3 March at 4pm. Please contact the school if you wish to visit on one of these dates.
