John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint two motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support in reception and nursery in our newest primary school.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting learning within a school and bring a good understanding of areas of learning like literacy and numeracy. With a friendly, caring yet professional manner, you will be able to relate well to children and adults. Joining this brand-new school, we’re looking for colleagues who have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and can be part of shaping an outstanding learning environment.

 Working under the direction of the teacher, you will make a significant contribution to the class teaching team, including occasional cover delivering pre-planned work.

Permanent, part time, working 32.5 hours per week (Full time 37 hours per week)

Term time only plus 6 INSET days.

Salary: Grade 4: £23,500 to £23,893 per annum pro rata

Actual salary: £17,925 to £18,224 per annum
