Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Term time only

Required from September 15

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly effective and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant with Key Stage 1 and Early Years knowledge and expertise.

Ideally the successful candidate will have an accreditation in forest school leadership or a particular interest in this area.

The successful applicant will

• Have a sound knowledge of EYFS, child development and early years education.
• Have knowledge and understanding of effective observation and progress systems.
• The ability to identify and model high quality practice.
• Be able to demonstrate excellent, appropriate relationships with young children 
• Be an excellent team player
• Be able to use their initiative when working and interacting with groups of children
• Have a high degree of emotional intelligence when dealing with families in challenging circumstances
• Be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively with other agencies
• Have a good understanding of the importance of appropriate information sharing and confidentiality
  in supporting children's and families well-being.
