The Governors of a Newcastle Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and positive KS2 teaching assistant to join a passionate, friendly and hard working team.

The role is set to start in September 2015, and will run for the full academic year working every morning. The desired candidate will be a level 3 Teaching Assistant confident working in a KS2 class. The candidate would be required to provide 1-1 support to a child with Speech, Language and Communication Needs.

The two form entry school is a fantastic environment to work in, with an extremely friendly and supportive Governing Body and Management team. The ideal candidate is strongly committed to staff development and pupil happiness and is encouraging a positive learning and working environment.

Due to the nature of this role, the Head Teacher and Governors are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who has a fantastic attitude, and is eager to fit in with a motivated and friendly team. Ideally the teaching assistant would have recent experience working 1-1, as well as experience within a KS2 classroom.
Pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure will be carried out in relation to successful candidates. Two satisfactory employment references will also be required.
