John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to support learning in reception in our newest primary school.

Working with an individual child with specific needs, the successful candidate will have experience of supporting learning within a school and bring a good understanding of areas of learning like literacy, numeracy and SEND strategies. With a friendly, caring yet professional approach, you will have the ability to respond to learning needs, demonstrating patience and commitment to milestones. Joining this brand-new school, we’re looking for a colleague with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who can be part of shaping an outstanding learning environment.

Fixed Term for one year ending 31st August 2025 (initially with potential for extension based on funding)

Part time, working 22.5 hours per week (Full time 37 hours per week)

Term time only plus 6 INSET days

Salary: Grade 4: £23,500 to £23,893 per annum pro rata

Actual salary: £12,409 to £12,617 per annum
