Barlow Hall Primary School are looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to support a child in our nursery with specific additional needs.

This post will be fixed term for twelve months initially, with the possibility of a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Support a child with complex needs and a possible Autistic Spectrum Diagnosis
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Support the schools vision and values
  • Have experience of working with young children to an appropriate level
  • Have good communication skills and qualifications in maths and English

About us
Barlow Hall Primary School is located in Chorlton, Manchester. We currently have 294 children on roll and we operate as a one and a half form entry school. Our children come from a variety of backgrounds, religions and cultures.

More than two thirds of our school population come from ethnic minority backgrounds with about 40% of our children having English as an additional language. Approximately 35% of our children are identified as vulnerable learners. 59% of children are eligible for pupil premium funding.
