Grove Park Primary School is a forward-thinking, expanding primary school set in lovely grounds.  We value our supportive staff, parents and governors and are very proud of our children and our reputation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 5. The post is to support a child who has been diagnosed with ADHD/PDD and has emotional and behavioural needs.

The post will be part-time, five mornings a week, from 8:30 to 12:50, term-time only plus inset days and will be paid on Scale 4 - £10,022.92 to £11,064.02 per annum.

Candidates must have English and Maths GCSE’s (A – C grades) and experience of working with a child or children with special educational needs in a school environment would be an advantage. 

The post is to commence on Tuesday, 1st September 2015 and will continue for as long as the particular child requires the additional support or as long as the child remains at the school.
