Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Support

Grade 4 SCP 11-13 / Up to 20 Hours per week (Role may be split in to two posts as job share), 43.21 weeks per year

St John the Baptist CE Primary School is a popular village Primary School, with around 130 pupils on role and attended mainly by pupils of families living in and around the village. The school team work well together; they support one another. The pupils are proud of their school and there is an ethos of shared commitment to maintaining and raising the already good standards of the school. The School’s last, very successful OFSTED inspection was in November 2014 when the school was judged to be good overall. 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to support a pupil who has an Education Health and Care Plan, in the first instance the pupil also needs some help with personal care and independence.
