The Governing Body of Nant Celyn Primary wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant until 21st July 2015 in the 1st instance to provide high quality support for a KS2 pupil with EBD & challenging behaviour & to support the additional learning needs of pupils within the school as required. This post is for 38 weeks per year.
The successful applicant should possess good numeracy & literacy skills & have experience of working with primary age children.
A relevant teaching qualification for Teaching Assistants is desirable but not essential. Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is beneficial & Team teach training is desirable.
An ability to establish good relationships with ‘hard to reach’ pupils is essential.
