Are you a creative practitioner who wants to make a difference?

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate who wishes to pursue teacher training to join our team. The role will include teaching a class for part of the week whilst undergoing training for QTS. The school would be willing to support and finance the right candidate to gain a qualified teacher status. You would be working as part of a very large and supportive team under the leadership of the Year Leader and our Deputy Headteacher.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have recent, relevant experience of working in a Primary School environment as a TA or a HLTA
  • Be a reflective practitioner keen to further develop their practice and make a difference to children’s learning.
  • Enjoy working as part of a large, collaborative team.
  • Have drive, enthusiasm and positivity.
  • Believe that every child has the right to enjoy success.

Claycots School is an 8 form entry primary school with two campuses in the diverse and rapidly-expanding town of Slough, Berkshire. Our Town Hall site, situated on the Bath Road serves the community of Central Slough, Chalvey and Upton. Our Britwell site, situated on the North of Slough serves the communities of Britwell, Lynch Hill and Manor Park.
